New additions to the SDIA Advisory Board

The SDIA team welcomes 2 new faces on our Advisory Board and we could not be more proud they are part of our mission.

Guiding us with their expertise and experience, we have some of the leading experts in the field of data centers, infrastructure & IT services to support us.

We warmly welcome John Booth and John Laban to our team of Advisors.

Mr Booth is the Managing Director of his own Sustainable IT consultancy, Carbon3IT Ltd and also sits on a number of organisations dedicated to Green Data Centres: EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres (EUCOC), British Computer Societies Green IT, DCD Certified Energy Efficient Data Centre Award (CEEDA) and much more.

Mr Laban is an Open Source Technology Reset Catalyst for the Open Compute Project Foundation. His mission is to create awareness of vanity free open source ICT hardware and its sustainability benefits in a decarbonised Circular Economy. John is also supporting the open source hardware collaborative commons worldwide with advice and education. You can watch his keynote presentation, hosted during the Sustainable Places 2020 conference. Aside from that, John on the board of OpenUK.

With these impressive experiences and both being well-know in the data center world scene, they will surely contribute greatly to our advisory board and our mission to drive the sustainable transformation of the digital infrastructure.
