The goal of this debate was to generate political commitments and leverage new and existing partnerships to address the widening digital divide as the world drives its COVID-19 recovery efforts forward in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The SDIA's Roadmap to Sustainable Digital Infrastructure by 2030 defines activities that are based on the UN SDGs and makes measuring progress possible by implementing universal metrics.
Many important and interesting people ranging from member state representatives and UN entities, to technology and telecommunication leaders, experts in digital governance, and civil society attended this debate.
